Things could get awkward in the Buffalo Bills’ quarterback room.
The Bills selected former Wyoming star Josh Allen with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft on Thursday, despite having signed former Alabama standout AJ McCarron to a two-year, $10 million contract in March.
While the battle at quarterback could create enough tension itself, several old tweets by Allen might make things even more awkward.
Apparently, the rookie quarterback was among the many infatuated with McCarron’s then-girfriend and now wife, Katherine Webb, during Alabama’s 2013 BCS National Championship Game rout of Notre Dame, as discovered by Barstool Sports’ Jack “Intern Jack Mac” McGuire.

Of course, the tweet was shared shortly after Webb was shown supporting McCarron in the stands during the blowout which, along with the former Miss Alabama USA’s presence alone, went viral due to several comments made by play-by-play man Brent Musburger.
McCarron, a former three-time BCS national champion, has spent the majority of his NFL career as a backup, throwing for 920 yards, 6 touchdowns and 2 interceptions on 86-of-133 passing in 11 games.
